Adult Learning Program (ALP) Counsellor (PS5) – Nova Scotia – School of Access, Education and Language – 100% full‑time, commencing approximately December 8, 2025.

Responsibilities

• Provide career, academic and personal counselling and support for students in the Adult Learning Program, leading to the Nova Scotia High School Graduation Diploma for Adults.
• Engage in student intake assessment, data management, orientation and retention support services, collaborating with the School of Access, Education and Language, Student Services, and support agencies.
• Collaborate closely with the faculty of the Adult Learning Program and Student Services staff members.
• Complete a part‑time adult education program delivered by NSCC within the probationary period, as required for full‑time Professional Support employees.
