As a claims analyst, you help review claims and issue settlement directives. You provide settlement opinions for medium‑to‑high‑complexity claims, assist internal advisors in developing technical skills, share ideas, and solve problems using analytical skills, extensive line of business knowledge, and an ability to manage complexity.

Responsibilities

• Coach internal advisors to develop their technical skills.
• Provide contract enforcement advice, verify settlement costs, ensure compliance with claims policies, and revise independent adjuster claims.
• Review claims and help advisors and practitioners settle them.
• Conduct research and serve as a resource person, proposing solutions to conflicts and situations outside the expert’s scope of authority.
• Help prepare action plans based on claims reviews.
• Verify and approve claims settlements.
