Application Engineering Specialist

Job Description

You will be reporting directly to the Application Engineering Manager, creating structural and automated designs, advising clients, and collaborating across teams.

What You’ll Do

• Create effective solutions/design using Vention 3D MachineBuilder and library of modular components
• Lead design review sessions with clients to provide feedback and insight on their design
• Review peers and users’ designs for performance, structural integrity, efficiency, and quality
• Create custom parts and drawings using standard CAD software, occasionally
• Write request for proposal for third party components and interact with potential suppliers
• Support sales with the technical portion of project agreements
• Run brainstorming sessions and technical post-mortems
• Help qualify projects and support the sales team with project feasibility checks
