Assistant Controller

Core Molding Technologies is hiring an Assistant Controller to support financial operations at our Matamoros manufacturing plant. In this role, you’ll help ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain strong internal controls, and support plant leadership with timely, actionable financial insights. You’ll work closely with Accounting, Operations, and Corporate Finance to manage day-to-day accounting activities, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Support preparation of monthly financial statements and reports
• Oversee accounting records, reconciliations, and transaction accuracy
• Assist in month-end and year-end close processes
• Monitor and analyze costs, expenses, and budgets
• Support accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
• Ensure compliance with Mexican accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with internal and external audits
