Overall Purpose of the Job

The Assistant Housing and Homelessness Program Manager (AHPM) is part of the Mi’kmaw Native Friendship Centre’s housing team and provides support to the Housing Program Manager (HPM) in overseeing day‑to‑day operations of the Homelessness & Housing Project and of the housing team across various locations. The AHPM works with families who are homeless or at risk of housing loss, in transition housing, and those being released from federal/provincial institutions.
