Assistant Transportation Supervisor

Position Summary

Reporting to the Transportation Manager and Supervisors, the Assistant Transportation Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of Delivery Service Representatives through Servant Leadership. This position is a customer facing role and will manage day‑to‑day transportation operations, ensuring that the company’s goals on safety, quality, service, cost and morale are consistently achieved. The role requires a valid Class 1 Driver’s License.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Delivery Service Representatives to provide customers with a high quality of service through the consistent application of best practices and standard procedures.
• Collaborate with the Sales department to ensure customer concerns are addressed.
• Evaluate individual and team performance using scorecard results and conduct root‑cause analysis on operational issues.
• Promote a culture of recognition for excellent performance.
