Air Canada Corporate Counsel – Labor & Employment Law (Principal)

Air Canada, the national flag‑carrier of Canada and a co‑founder of the Star Alliance network, is seeking an experienced Principal Corporate Counsel to join its legal team in Montreal. The selected candidate will support the Deputy General Counsel, Labor & Employment Law, on a wide range of legal matters.

Responsibilities

• Represent Air Canada in litigation and labour arbitration before the Canadian Industrial Relations Board, the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal, and their provincial counterparts.
• Draft and review litigation documents, including pleadings, witness statements, written arguments, claim files, settlement documents, and other court or arbitration materials.
• Collect and evaluate information to respond to inquiries, complaints, and grievances.
• Advise on collective bargaining negotiations and support negotiating teams to secure favourable outcomes.
