Description

Great Gulf Group is hiring an Accounting Manager in Toronto to oversee the financial operations of the Build-to-Rent division. This role includes managing reporting, compliance, and team leadership.
As the Accounting Manager, you will lead the full-cycle accounting processes, involving the preparation of financial statements and audit support for the division. Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure rigorous financial oversight and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise accounting records for the BTR division
• Prepare annual and quarterly financial statements
• Coordinate with external auditors for audits
• Support tax compliance and reporting
• Mentor accounting staff and deliver financial insights
Requirements:
• CPA designation and 5+ years of post-designation experience
• Expertise in IFRS with real estate knowledge preferred
