Business Law Associate, Energy

The Calgary Office of McCarthy Tétrault LLP seeks a highly-motivated lawyer to join our national Business Law Group with a focus on Energy . The successful candidate will join a diverse and skilled team which provides a full range of legal advice to clients in the energy (oil & gas, power and energy transition) and infrastructure industries.

The ideal candidate is motivated by excellent work and highly engaged colleagues and appreciates superior technology and other support. The candidate will have:

• 3 – 6 years of post-call corporate and commercial law experience, with a preference for candidates with oil and gas, electricity and/or renewables expertise, and CCUS and other energy transition experience and/or interest, including experience in private M&A, joint ventures and complex commercial work;
