Description
The Carrier Sales Representative is responsible for identifying, sourcing, and managing the trucking companies that physically transport our clients’ shipments. This role plays a critical part in ensuring reliable transportation capacity by negotiating competitive carrier rates while maintaining the company’s revenue and profit margin objectives.
As a key liaison between carriers, operations teams, and customers, the Carrier Sales Representative ensures that freight is picked up, transported, and delivered safely and on schedule. The position requires strong negotiation, communication, and problem‑solving skills, as well as the ability to build long‑term relationships with carriers to support operational efficiency and business growth.
