Charge Radiology Technologist

Position Overview

Under the general supervision of the Manager, Director or designate in the Diagnostic Services portfolio, the Charge Radiology Technologist is responsible for assisting in the day‑to‑day planning, organization, directing and controlling of the department in an efficient and effective manner. The role functions as an independent, self‑directed professional in the delivery of direct patient care, maintaining a safe environment in accordance with professional and provincial guidelines and ensuring compliance with the quality assurance program.

Experience

• A minimum of three years’ experience as a General Duty Radiology Technologist.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

• Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Imaging Technology.
• Successful completion of the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologist certification exam (CAMRT).
