Ciena Focused Senior Network Architect Ottawa

Join our team as a Senior Network Architect with in-depth knowledge of Ciena routing and switching platforms. This position requires a hands‑on approach to designing large-scale IP and Ethernet networks. We are looking for a candidate with at least 8 years of network engineering experience and expertise in Ciena's 31xx, 51xx, and 81xx product families.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-scale IP/MPLS network solutions
• Maintain design standards and reference architectures
• Create and review HLD/LLD, topology diagrams, and models
• Drive network modernization initiatives and platform migrations
• Act as a technical escalation point for complex network issues

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science
• A minimum of 8 years in architecture or network engineering
