 :The Driver AZ(Class 1) is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods to assigned locations. This role involves maintaining compliance with company policies, ensuring the timely delivery of shipments, accurate completion of paperwork, and adherence to all safety standards and applicable laws/regulations.
Hourly payrate for this position is : $30.50/hour
Essential Details and Responsibilities
Pre-Trip Preparation:
Coordinate with the Transportation Manager or Coordinator for next-day schedules, including start times, routes, and delivery addresses.
Conduct vehicle and equipment inspections, including lift gates, pallet jacks, and seasonal safety tools (e.g., snow shovels, ice scrapers).
Verify paperwork, keys, and store-specific details (e.g., security codes, phone numbers).
Ensure load security and verify skid counts before departure.
