Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Clinical Pharmacist, you’ll help our doctors and nurses safely prescribe and dispense medications to help our patients feel better and recover from their illness or injury. Every day you’ll review prescriptions, ensuring safety and accuracy, and provide expert consultation on drug interactions, dosing, allergies, and other issues.

• Document clinical activities and interventions such as consults and patient teachings as defined by policy.
• Interpret medication orders and prescriptions, entering or verifying them into the system, labeling, and dispensing medications promptly.
• Verify and check medications prepared by other pharmacy personnel.
• Communicate drug information to patients and health professionals, resolving drug-related problems and clarifying unclear orders with providers.
