Description
We are seeking an experienced
CNC Setup Programmer t
to join our clients manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming CNC lathes and setting up machines for production to ensure efficient, high-quality machining operations. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency in CNC programming, and the ability to interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings.
Pay:
$27.00-$30.00/hour
Shift:
Days, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and optimize CNC programs for CNC lathes
Set up machines for other operators, including first-off requirements for repeat jobs
Troubleshoot programming issues and adjust as needed to maintain production efficiency
Participate in tool and fixture selection during the development of new parts
Improve existing programs to reduce machine cycle time
