Purpose Statement: The Configuration Engineer receives process, interpret, analyze and coordinate the customer documentation, assuring the integrity and life time period of the information. Suggest manufacturing design product improvements and is responsible for all job-related clerical and tactical functions related to the tracking, implementation of ECOs and Deviations. Responsibilities also include aiding in product containment, problem resolution, labor cost impact estimation and ensuring implementation of all released Change Orders and Deviations, ensuring the successful completion of the production assembly process, coordinates ECO implementations established with customer, from the beginning and until the end of the lifecycle of product.
