Construction Accounting Administrator
Description
General
- Construction Accounting Experience is a MUST.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, subcontract control and job costing.
- Ensure that all monthly Government reporting/payments are made on time, i.e. HST and Payroll Deductions.
- Ensure that the T4, T4A-NR, T5018 yearly reports are prepared and submitted on time
Duties and Responsibilities
Month-End
- Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliation
- Maintain depreciation and other reconciliation schedules
- Prepare AP accruals for project invoices not received at month-end
- Prepare month-end reporting
Accounts Receivable and Payable
- Ensure that all AP and AR invoices have been processed in a timely manner
