Core Logging Geologist (Merritt)

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Core Logging Geologist to support active drilling programs at our project site in British Columbia. This field‑based role requires extended rotations in Merritt, BC, and involves systematic logging, sampling, and documentation of drill core.

Key Responsibilities

• Log drill core in detail, documenting lithology, alteration, mineralization, veining, and structure
• Mark sample intervals and coordinate core cutting and bagging in accordance with QA/QC protocols
• Photograph core trays and maintain organized, accurate core storage
• Identify and document indicator minerals consistent with the target deposit style (low‑sulphidation epithermal gold and silver)
• Perform visual inspection of drill rigs, conduct downhole surveying, and serve as the communication link between drillers and the geological team
