Crisis Services Nurse (RN/RPN) (Courtenay)

Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized nursing program related to psychiatric nursing and/or mental illness, or evidence of an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as a practicing RN registrant or a practicing RPN registrant; and two (2) years recent related experience in mental health, alcohol and drug use/withdrawal management and concurrent disorder issues, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Valid BC Class 5 Driver's License.
• Position may be assigned to a program that is in partnership with the RCMP.
• Applicant must consent to RCMP security clearance as per operational requirements of working alongside RCMP Officer(s).
