DGM Procurement(Mech)

DGM Procurement Mech will drive sourcing, localization of fabricated components aligned to category strategy, and supplier performance for mechanical commodities such as plastics, sheet metal parts, machined components, and fabricated assemblies. The role requires strong technical understanding of manufacturing processes, costing and close collaboration with engineering, quality, Industrial, Supply chain, and production teams to enable localized, cost-effective, high-quality supply. Key Responsibilities Localization & Strategic Sourcing Identify, qualify, and develop local suppliers to support Make-in-Region/Make-in-India initiatives. Align with the category strategy, lead RFQs/RFPs, supplier selection, and commercial negotiations for plastics, metal stamping, rubber parts, machined parts, castings, Springs, Labels, packaging etc. Supplier Management & Development Conduct supplier capability for manufacturing , quality, and capacity assessments.
