Full time Permanent Diabetes Educator (Registered Nurse or Registered Dietitian)

Full time Permanent position at the Diabetes Management Centre. Part‑time may be considered.

What you will do:

As a member of the Adult Diabetes Management Centre team, you will work alongside fellow Registered Dietitians, Registered Nurses and Endocrinologists.

You will provide individual teaching and counseling to clients living with Type 1 Diabetes, Type 2 Diabetes, Gestational Diabetes and Prediabetes in an outpatient setting.

What you bring to the role:

• Undergraduate degree in Nursing (BScN) from a recognized university or Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition Science
• Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario or College of Dietitians of Ontario
• 2-3 years recent and relevant experience as a nurse or community nutritionist with a focus on diabetes education preferred
