Role and Facility Information

The Island Health Department of Medical Imaging in Duncan is seeking a full‑time Radiologist for the Cowichan District Hospital (CDH). With a new hospital planned to open in 2027, the successful candidate will contribute to designing and optimizing both a hospital and its imaging department.

Qualifications and Licensure

Current College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) License. Full Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) Mandatory. Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) Mandatory. Eligible for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC.

Clinical Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will have proficiency in CT, US, MRI, Mammography, Fluoroscopy, BMD, and basic interventional procedures. Preference for experience with MRI or MSK imaging. Training or willingness to train in CT Cardiac Coronary Angiography and CT Colonography is desi...
