Dietitian (Clinical) (Community Based Outpatient Clinic)

Summary
The employee will work within the Clinical Section of NFS serving as the medical nutrition expert. The employee applies evidenced-based nutrition practice guidelines for all patients - including those with complex medical and nutritional needs. Clinical Dietitians coordinate nutritional care with other health care providers - the Veteran - and the community. Clinical Dietitians collaborate with the Food Operations Section to enhance the Veterans' dining experience and ensure patient satisfaction.

Qualifications
Basic Requirements:

• Citizenship: Citizen of the United States
• Registration: All applicants must be registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) the credentialing branch of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics formerly known as the American Dietetic Association (ADA)
