DP 2nd Engineer: Engine Room Ops & Safety Lead

Responsibilities

• Assist Chief Engineer in daily engine room operations

• Supervise maintenance of main engine auxiliaries pumps and generators

• Ensure proper watchkeeping and engine room safety

• Maintain PMS records engine logbooks and checklists

• Monitor fuel lube oil and machinery performance

• Supervise engine ratings and workshops

• Ensure compliance with ISM MARPOL SOLAS and Company SMS

• Support inspections repairs and emergency drills
