Job Summary
The Drilling Engineer leads the technical support and planning for safe and efficient well operations by preparing detailed engineering programs, performing simulations, and assisting in the execution of drilling activities. The role supports field operations with real-time analysis, ensuring that drilling programs align with technical, safety, and cost objectives.
Job Responsibilities 1
Prepare sections of drilling programs including casing, mud, cementing, and hydraulics.
Conduct torque & drag, hydraulics, and BHA simulations using engineering software.
Provide day-to-day engineering support to field operations, including technical troubleshooting.
Assist in monitoring drilling progress, NPT analysis, and performance optimization.
Review and analyze offset well data to improve drilling performance.
Support the preparation of AFE documents and technical cost estimates.
