Position Title: EDUCATION ASSISTANT – SUPERVISION

Location: District – North

Effective: September 8, 2026

Hours: 4.7 hours per day for Education Assistant and 1.0 hour per day for Supervision (all days school is in session).

Rate of Pay: $33.69/hour (Education Assistant) $31.49/hour (Supervision)

Duties & Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Principal(s) and the general supervision of the Classroom Teacher(s), provides assistance to students who have physical disabilities, chronic health diagnoses, intellectual disabilities and/or social, emotional and behavioural needs as designated by the Director of Instruction, while supporting the achievement of stated program goals and objectives.
• Supervision of a designated area either inside or outside the school, before, during and/or after school as defined by the terms of the assignment.
