Join MHS - West as an Advanced Care Paramedic in a temporary role, delivering high-level patient care in emergency situations. This position involves 12-hour shifts and requires extensive knowledge of safety protocols.
This temporary position operates on a 6-month term and may be extended based on need. You will maintain operational readiness of emergency vehicles and work closely with outside agencies to ensure patient stabilization. Your role includes documenting patient assessments and care timely and clearly, exercising good judgment in all interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain skills in line with Alberta Occupational Competency Profile
• Safely operate MHS - West emergency vehicles
• Document all patient interactions in ePCRs
• Participate in community education programs
• Ensure patient confidentiality according to regulations
