Engineering Assistant, Water & Wastewater

Burnside Group of Companies is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Engineering Assistant with 1–2 years of experience to join our Water & Wastewater Infrastructure team. As a part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to a variety of projects involving the assessment, planning, study, design, approval, and construction administration of municipal, Indigenous, and some private sector water and wastewater infrastructure.

We are looking for an individual who can work both independently on project sites and remotely in a team environment. The ideal candidate is flexible, able to adjust to changing priorities, able to learn in a fast‑paced environment, fair, and willing to build working relationships with all involved parties. This position is based out of our Orangeville (preferred) or Guelph office and requires occasional travel to other offices and client sites.
