We are looking for an Experienced Employment and Litigation Lawyer to advocate for our organization across Alberta and British Columbia. This role demands decisive action and a results-oriented approach in complex litigation.
As part of our legal team, you'll manage litigation files, draft crucial legal documents, and represent the organization at all tribunal levels. The ideal candidate is comfortable with oral advocacy and actively seeks to mitigate risks while addressing employment matters effectively.
Key Responsibilities: • Manage litigation files through to resolution across both provinces • Represent the organization in Alberta and BC courts • Prepare pleadings, affidavits, and other legal documents • Participate in alternate dispute resolution (ADR) initiatives • Contribute to proactive policies to mitigate risks
