Overview

Northern Health is urgently seeking locum physicians to work in the Chetwynd Hospital & Health Centre Emergency Department in Chetwynd, British Columbia. Locums have the option of covering clinic and/or ER. ER shifts are 24 hours ). You can expect to see an average of 20 patients in a 24-hour shift. The clinic features inter‑professional teams (IPT) including Mental Health & Addictions, Community Nursing and Public Health, with space for visiting specialties such as Occupational Therapy and Respiratory Therapy. This model focuses on patient‑centred care that is accessible, coordinated, comprehensive and continuous, with quality improvement and patient safety as key areas of focus.
