Current College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) License Provisional Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) Desired Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) Eligible Mandatory Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) Mandatory
Role and Facility Information
The ED Program GP will provide direct patient care to clients attending the Central Island Child and Youth Eating Disorders Programs, including:
- ED Medical Monitoring with focus on 17-24 year olds (clients that fall outside the scope of Pediatricians), with monitoring of significantly unwell & complex Adults and/or youth under 17, as necessary
- Comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning for some of the more acute and complex ED Program clients
- Limited follow-up care for complex ED Program clients
- Robust discharge planning with a goal of reducing readmission rates
