Forester in Training (Prince George)

As a Forester in Training, you will be an integral part of the Canfor Woodlands team, gaining hands‑on experience across all key forestry functions.

Based at our Prince George, BC office, this junior forestry position is designed to provide you with the training and knowledge needed to advance your career in forestry.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Implementing efficiencies and cost‑saving initiatives.
• Completing planning activities and necessary assessments.
• Conducting field operations: layout planning, timber cruising, preparing final field packages, ensuring quality control, and tracking progress.
