Be a vital part of the Central Island Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Program as a full-time Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. You'll develop innovative programs while supporting underserved areas through Telepsychiatry Outreach and direct consultations.
CICAPP is seeking a full-time Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to enhance mental health services on Vancouver Island. This role involves developing Telepsychiatry Outreach and consulting with the Pediatric Ambulatory Care Service at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital. Other responsibilities include participating in a Mental Health Day Program for children and liaising for admitted youth at NRGH.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop Telepsychiatry Outreach for remote communities
• Consult with Pediatric Ambulatory Care Service team
• Participate in a Mental Health Day Program for children
• Provide input for an Early Psychosis Intervention Program
