The Elk Point Healthcare Centre has an opportunity for a passionate Health Care Aide (HCA) dedicated to patient- and family-centered care. This role will be an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team in Long Term Care which is made of 30 beds. You will build meaningful relationships as you work with clients daily providing personal assistance and support services to those in your care. Working under a regulated health professional following patient care plans and facility policies, you will assist with activities of daily living, such as hygiene, nutrition, mobility, recreation, and safety, while also supporting organized activities or programs. Superior interpersonal skills will be used daily as you work closely with clients, families, caregivers, and health professionals.
