Housekeeping Aide/Housekeeper

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe environment by removing waste and adhering to legislative requirements such as WHMIS.
• Perform daily cleaning tasks including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, spot cleaning, and disinfecting resident areas.
• Prepare rooms for new residents through deep cleaning and heavy cleaning of windows and walls.
• Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies, request new supplies when needed, and maintain stock levels.
• Report broken equipment and repair needs, and assist maintenance as required.
• Provide courteous customer service, ensuring resident privacy and respecting resident property.
• Advocate on behalf of residents in matters related to care and cleanliness.
