Description

Our client, a company specializing in building mechanical systems, is seeking an HVAC Drafter to prepare and oversee the development of drawings based on sketches, preliminary concepts, engineering calculations and technical specifications.

Use various computer-aided design (CAD) software programs to produce drawings for HVAC mechanical systems;
Provide installation teams with all necessary information to ensure proper and accurate installation;
Ensure interdisciplinary coordination of the project;
Validate drawing details and fabrication drawings;
Interpret, understand, and apply SMACNA ductwork standards;
Take field measurements on-site as required;
Prepare lists of required hardware related to various projects.
Requirements:
DEP or DEC in Building Mechanicsl Drafting/Design;
At least 2 years of experience in HVAC design;
Proficient with CAD software (AutoCAD, CADMEP, Revit);
