POSITION SUMMARY
:
The Inclusive Education Teacher for the Child and Adolescent Treatment Centre (CATC) provides an education component within a multi-disciplinary treatment team. The incumbent participates in the development, implementation and evaluation of individualized academic programs to clients who are eligible within CATC programs and services. As a member of the CATC multi-disciplinary team, the incumbent will provide a broad range of education services to clients and their families.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Classroom supervision and teaching
Academic Resource Development
Documentation of student’s progress
Consultation within CATC programs
Participates in program staff meetings. Will be expected to provide feedback on programs and procedures as they affect the general functioning of the educational component.
