Infection Control Practitioner | Registered Nurse
Description
Join our innovative and growing team at Kelowna General Hospital as a Registered Nurse Infection Control Practitioner. We are seeking a Registered Nurse with recent acute or long-term care experience, including expertise in infection prevention and control processes such as outbreak management, point-of-care risk assessments, routine practices, and additional precautions. Candidates must have completed, or be enrolled in, an IPAC Canada-endorsed Infection Prevention and Control course.
This relief full-time opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on patient and staff safety while working within a collaborative and supportive healthcare team. This position is available until November 22, 2027, or the return of the incumbent.
Shift Times: Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:00.
