Location: Powell River/qathet Regional District

Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:00-4:30pm)

Salary Or Wage: $36.00 to $40.00 per hour

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:

• 7-10 years’ of previous experience in the construction, home building, or renovation industry is required.
• Trade Certificate, Red Seal Certification and proven experience as a Journeyman Carpenter.
• Estimating and project costing experience and ability to accurately calculate material quantities, labour requirements, and overall project costs to support efficient project planning, budgeting, and execution.
• Leadership and team-building skills.
• Working knowledge of BC building codes.
• Excellent planning, time-management, and communication skills.
• Sound ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and project specifications.
