Job Description

Seaspan Shipyards is part of Canada’s National Shipbuilding Strategy, building vessels for the Canadian Coast Guard and Royal Canadian Navy. The Intern, Process Management will support process engineering on new construction projects at Vancouver Shipyards, working directly under the Supervisor, Design Build – Process Management.

Responsibilities

• Plan and analyze pre‑production strategy including engineering and procurement schedules, pre‑production processes, and MBOM creation.
• Develop and implement process improvements across pre‑production areas.
• Conduct pre‑production process analysis to design, refine, and implement new and existing production processes.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a technical field, or a related discipline.
• Proficient in process mapping tools such as Visio, Miro, and ARIS SW.
