Junior Analyst - 2 + Months

Our Client is a Canadian-based gold mining organization that is in search to bring on a Junior Analyst on their Corporate Finance team for a 2-month contract. The role is 4 days in office located in downtown Toronto and 1 day work from home. The Junior Analyst will assist the Corporate Accounting function of the organization’s Finance department.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in vendor verification program by facilitating independent calls to vendors to confirm banking details to prevent fraud and maintain integrity in the payments process
• Assist with the month‑end and quarter‑end close processes through preparation of routine journal entries
• Support the intercompany and external gold sales process through preparation and management of internal invoices
