Okanagan Waldorf School (OWS) is seeking a Kindergarten Class Teacher to join our established program. Your primary goal as a Waldorf Kindergarten teacher is to teach by example. Through imitation, the students will learn important lessons from you, important lessons to prepare them for grade school academics. As a Waldorf Kindergarten teacher, you will model and provide ample opportunity for students to engage in meaningful work, you will foster free play, and develop the fine and gross motor development of our students through music, singing, games, outdoor education, and intentional movement exercises. You would be working with our diverse population of children in an atmosphere that encourages active inquiry and fosters individual growth, promoting respect for self, others, and the world in which they live.
