This role involves joining EDC's Legal Services team for a one-year contract, emphasizing mid-market lending and providing oversight on corporate transactions. Key Responsibilities:
• Manage all transaction aspects including negotiation
• Mitigate risk factors related to legal issues
• Draft and revise essential legal documents
• Provide advice on corporate governance and compliance
• Supervise outside legal counsel as necessary
Requirements:
• Law degree and active Canadian bar license
• Minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience
• Strong skills in communication and drafting
