Our Client

• A privately owned real estate company with a portfolio of commercial shopping plazas, development lands across Ontario, and several mixed-use residential properties

Responsibilities

• Drafting of commercial documentation such as offers to lease, leases, lease renewals, assignments, consents, etc.
• Assist in the creation of legal documents to support the real estate company for both tenant matters and corporate needs
• Track lease documentation to completion, along with monitoring key dates in agreements and maintaining a tickler system
• Maintain and update the current filing system and assist in further digitizing of historical legal files
• Co-ordinate with the accounting team for all dates and financial information related to lease implementation
