Line-up Operator

Role & responsibilities

• Operate line-up station and align the pipe joints in the bead stall.
• Operating the Internal Line-Up Clamp (ILUC) .
• Adjusting the clamp according to the pipe OD, ID, and wall thickness.
• Achieving precise internal alignment (high-low control).
• Holding the joint securely during tack welding/root pass.
• Releasing and moving the ILUC to the next joint.

Preferred candidate profile

4 to 5 years of experience at offshore on pipe laying barge.
