Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manual Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will operate and maintain conventional machine shop equipment. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency in manual machining, and the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings. The Machinist will contribute to efficient repair work by utilizing various machine tools, hand tools, power tools, and welding techniques, ensuring high-quality output in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot manual machines such as lathes, mills, drills, saws and horizontal boring mills.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to produce accurate components.
  • Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, depth mics, bore gages, and calipers to verify dimensions and ensure quality standards are met.
