Manufacturing Designer (Nisku)

Responsibilities

• Develop and create detailed designs for manufacturing tools and fixtures, ensuring compliance with production requirements and industry standards.
• Generate exact and comprehensive technical drawings and specifications for tooling using Inventor/Creo software.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, production teams, and other stakeholders to identify design needs and gather feedback on functionality.
• Contribute to the prototyping process by working alongside manufacturing teams to test and refine tools prior to full‑scale production.
• Evaluate existing tool designs for efficiency and effectiveness, proposing improvements to boost productivity and lower costs.
• Keep thorough documentation of design processes, revisions, and specifications to ensure traceability and adherence to JCI standards.
• Create or update bills of materials (BOM) to accurately represent the necessary components and materials.
