Summary You will serve as a MECHANICAL ENGINEER in the PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF. The location for this position is Garden Island, Australia. ***See Additional Information section below for details*** Responsibilities You will serve as technical advisor and ship platform subject matter expert. You will act as lead/oversight mechanical troubleshooter in the identification and resolution of problems encountered during installation, grooming, or testing of waterfront production efforts. You will support the Command in the event of a major incident on an assigned ship and help coordinate the necessary PHNSY and IMP AUKUS technical response. You will ensure proper liaison with the Production Resources, Operations Departments and logistic and Acquisition Departments, providing rapid response for resolution of problems regarding work on surface ship/submarine components.
