Mental Health and Substance Use Worker | ASTAT (Osoyoos)

The Osoyoos Health Centre is looking for a relief full time Mental Health and Substance Use (MHSU) Worker to join the Adult Short Term Assessment and Treatment (ASTAT) team.

The successful applicant will have experience in working with individuals with addictions, and have strong knowledge of specific treatment approaches to counselling individuals with substance use issues.

This relief position is until the return of the incument.

Responsibilities

• Provide community case management and outreach for MHSU clients in the Oliver and Osoyoos area.


• Coordinate and provide assessment, treatment and service coordination for clients with substance use problems and concurrent mental health issues.


• Respond urgently to clients who may have functional impairment in physical, personal, family, financial, occupational, and social life domains.
