About Your New Role

Reporting to the Supervisor, Metallurgy, the Metallurgy Technician will support metallurgical process optimization through sampling, analysis, testing, and support of the plant’s automated systems and data integrity programs.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Participate in metallurgical activities within the mill, including sampling, analysis, testing, and metallurgical accounting to support process evaluations.
• Support the commissioning, configuration, and maintenance of process automation and analyzer systems as the plant transitions into increased automation.
• Execute plant simulation and optimization bottle roll tests to support process tuning.
• Support Metallurgy supervisor in all CI metallurgical projects and provide insights for process improvements.
